Bingo!
Yesterday I targeted TSLA, today I executed and had a stunning trade.
I'll be sharing two charts from TSLA's performance, the first one is zoomed out, the second one will be zoomed in to share my entry and my exit as I didn't hold overnight. Let's begin.

In the above we can see the exceptional performance of July 6, where the price jumped from $392 from previous close to $319 today. While we see that TSLA did not break that wedge, it is still evident that today was a good run for everyone who was a part of it, myself included.

I've highlighted above my entry at 9:50am and my exit at 11:55am. As shown, there was a $14.30 increase in price. My contract was for strike price $420 expiring on July 8, the price of this contract was $1.52 per share. By the time I sold this contract, the price was at $4.00 which gave me a 160.93% gain. We see above that towards the end of the day, the price continued to stay high and I tracked the premium prices up to $6.50 per contract.
Could I have made more if I would've held a little longer? yes. Do I regret not holding longer? no. The main reason I blew my account in the first place was greed and lack of discipline. Today when tracking TSLA, my target premium price was $4.00 and then I exited as soon as that happened. Will TSLA go above $420 tomorrow? most likely yes, but I collected my profit, and I can now look for the next win without having to stress above overnight news.
So, let's move on to analyze yesterday's prediction with my Multi-Sector Predictive Liquidity Model (which still needs some fixing). I predicted XLI and XLE to be in the red today, from these two, XLE was red but XLI was second leader today, while XLK was the top performer.

From today's overall performance, I believe the sectors in the green will be:
- XLU – High selling volume
- XLP – Almost even distribution on volume between sellers and buyers, but low overall volume
- XLV – Even volume distribution
I will choose XLV as my sector tomorrow. There is potential for LLY, JNJ, and even UNH. The only reason I'll stray away from LLY is because the premiums are too expensive per contract. So I will be monitoring JNJ and UNH for a good entry.
Today was a good day, I kept my composure when TSLA's price kept shooting up. I didn't allow greed to take over, it was tempting, yes, but I persevered in the end. I also did enter a bit before my 30 mins as I was 6 minutes early, but my preparation was what gave me the confidence while also waiting at least 20 minutes.
I intent to repeat my approach tomorrow while keeping my greed at bay. Won't force it if the trade is not present and will not rush an entry just because the stock is doing what I expect it to do.
July's looking like the greenest month so far!
