One Month Update

I haven't written in almost a month. After today, I won't until September. At the same time, I haven't traded anything in that same time frame.

I've been busy at the end of July and August – dog sitting for two weeks away from home, traveling to another country, and heading out to another country this coming week. While I didn't intend to not blog/not trade this whole time, I think I needed this time to reset and have a serious conversation with myself of where I'm going with this journey.

As I take a solo trip to South Asia, I want to actually reflect on why I rush to the trades, and why I insist on trading even when the set up is not guaranteed. The thing is, I've known that the method works in observing the sector rotations, which then allows me to narrow down to the individual stocks. The issue begins to happen when I jump the gun most days, I need to handle that.

This week, although I don't plan on trading at the moment, I will be monitoring the sector rotation as I do at the end of each trading day. With that in mind, from today's performance below, I can see the potential in XLF, XLP, XLB. While my model didn't pull XLF as a potential for tomorrow, my eyes see it coming. I haven't decided which stocks I'd trade from each of the sectors mentioned, but I do know that I'll be monitoring and watching their behavior.

Let's see what this week holds for me, and after next week, I want to have a fresh mind and approach. I want to execute successfully, and I have a feeling that this time is coming and staying for good.
